The Iron Kelpie Corporation
Out past the black stump, players are scattered. Lone wolves queue solo, lose to coordinated teams, and log off. The Corporation was formed to fix that.
Like the working dogs of the outback, we muster. We round up scattered players and form them into standing squads, each with its own leader, its own roles and its own weekly slot. Every squad is independent and runs its own show. All of them fly the same banner.
We don't ask for clan-level commitment. We ask for one thing: turn up. Rank is earned by turning up, not by grinding. Reserves answer the call when a mate can't make it. Fill-ins jump in when a squad's short.

Why a kelpie
The kelpie was bred in Australia in the late 1800s to muster sheep across stations too big for any one person to cover. It works far from its handler, makes its own calls, and doesn't quit in the heat. When the mob's packed tight, it runs across their backs to get where it's needed. The first of the line was named after a Scottish water spirit.
That's the job here: gather the strays, form them up, and keep them turning up.
How the Corporation works
- Units
- Independent squads under the Corporation's banner. Each has a squad leader, named roles and a weekly slot.
- The muster
- Each squad's weekly session. Members say in, maybe or skip; gaps get covered.
- Reserves
- Anyone can put their name down for a squad. When a regular can't make it, reserves get first call. Cover twice in a month and the leader is nudged to offer you a spot.
- Fill-ins
- One-off public openings for a single session. No commitment, and the quickest way to get your first games on the board.
- The messes
- The forums. Each opens up as you rise through the ranks.
The rank ladder
Rank belongs to you, not your squad, and it never goes down for being away. Games count when a squad leader logs a session you played in.

Outlined badges are specialist ranks, appointed for helping build Iron Kelpie rather than earned in squads. Reserve spots and fill-ins never count toward your squad limit.
